Logbox 720 is an intricate and high-tech location, serving as the second world in the video game Banjo-Kazooie Nuts & Bolts. This entire world is designed to resemble the interior of an Xbox 360 console and offers various objectives for the protagonists to complete such as repairing circuitry and protecting different components of the console. Logbox 720 consists of multiple floors, each containing different types of components like graphic cards and audio cards. Banjo and Kazooie are able to navigate through these levels by walking up orange wires or using the elevator, which is a piece of green computer chip. One fascinating aspect of Logbox 720 is that when Banjo and Kazooie hit certain components, such as the Graphic Card or Audio Chip, the screen may glitch or the sound may become garbled for a short time. These occurrences can also happen without the player’s involvement, possibly due to the roaming Gruntbots. At the center of the world, there is the CPU, the primary component of a computer that acts as its control center. This component looks like a massive gray-colored brain inside a glass, accompanied by golden legs that players can destroy to unlock an achievement. In a corner of the world lies a large tank filled with purple glubber, which can also be seen running through the glass pipes throughout the world. It acts as a liquid coolant for the console’s components, which produce heat. A section of the ground acts as the CD-ROM drive, and players can observe several rotating discs, including the video games Banjo-Kazooie, Banjo-Tooie, Viva Piñata, Grabbed By the Ghoulies, and It’s Mr. Pants. In order to unlock the first Act, players must collect two Jiggies and place the Game Globe provided by Lord of Games on its plinth in Showdown Town. Of particular interest is the third Act, which features a Jiggy-Challenge hosted by the game’s antagonist, Gruntilda. Players must successfully beat her challenge, and as a reward, they’ll receive Floaters and a Small Propeller. These upgrades allow Banjo and Kazooie to explore more of Showdown Town and discover more hidden secrets.
» Gruntilda Winkybunion in Logbox 720
In the third act of Logbox 720, players are presented with a unique and exciting Jiggy-Challenge that is hosted by none other than the game’s primary antagonist, Gruntilda. Positioned atop the Glubber Tank on the highest floor, she reveals her malevolent scheme to Banjo and Kazooie. She intends to contaminate the Glubber Tank by sending Piddles, her trusty feline companion, which would force Bottles to shut down the entire world Logbox 720. To execute her plan, Gruntilda has built a submarine-like vehicle that she will use to dive down and contaminate the tank. However she offers Banjo and Kazooie an opportunity to thwart her evil plan. They must first race against her around the Glubber Pool, with Banjo and Kazooie driving on land and Gruntilda Winkybunion in her underwater vehicle. If they succeed in beating her, the witch must abandon her plan, and Logbox 720 will be safe from her sinister intentions. In order to succeed in this race and stop the wicked witch, the protagonists must take matters into their own hands and design a fast vehicle with good handling to navigate the challenging curves of the track with ease. It’s a race against time, as Grunty continues to wreak havoc and threatens to contaminate the Glubber Tank. Upon successfully defeating Gruntilda in the Jiggy-Challenge, players are handsomely rewarded with the Floaters and a Propeller for their trolley in Showdown Town. With these upgrades, Banjo and Kazooie can now swim in the water while driving their trolley without sinking. This grants players the opportunity to explore new areas of the hub world, Showdown Town, and reach new Mumbo Crates to increase their selection of vehicle parts when creating vehicles in Mumbo’s Motors.
