Bullion Bill

Bullion Bill is a well-known prospector in the second world, Glitter Gulch Mine, and is recognized by his white mustache and beard, cowboy hat, white work clothes, and brown shoes. His name is a nod to the famous American frontier figure, Buffalo Bill, and his job as a prospector is reflected in the term Bullion, which refers to bars of gold or silver. In Banjo-Tooie, Bullion Bill is initially found alone in his humble hut, where he is feeling down as his partner Dilberta has gone missing. Upon meeting Banjo and Kazooie, Bullion Bill requests their assistance in locating Dilberta. Banjo and Kazooie embark on a quest to rescue her from Mayahem Temple’s Prison Compound and return her safely back to Glitter Gulch Mine. In gratitude for their successful mission, Bullion Bill rewards them with a golden Jiggy. Apart from being a skilled prospector, Bullion Bill is also a responsible owner of a storage shed, where he stores all of his valuable treasures. However, the section has been threatened by fifteen red TNT-Sticks that are walking around within the storage shed. The Ordnance Storage can be accessed through a hole with stairs leading down to the mine, though initially, it’s blocked by a boulder that must be demolished using Kazooie’s Bill Drill ability. Bullion Bill requests Banjo and Kazooie’s help to safely remove the TNT-Sticks, but they must first defeat Targitzan in Mayahem Temple and learn the Beak Bayonet technique, as using any sort of eggs would trigger an explosion. Once they disarm the first stick, a 200-second countdown begins for removing the other ones. If players fail to defeat all TNT-Sticks before time expires, the remaining ones will detonate, resulting in failure and requiring them to restart. Upon completion, Bullion Bill records their best completion time for future attempts and rewards them with a golden Jiggy.
