Clockwork Kazooie Egg

Clockwork Kazooie Eggs are a type of ammunition that can be used in Banjo-Tooie. These eggs are distinct from other types of eggs since they are relatively large and contain tiny controllable bombs shaped like the red-feathered breegulll, Kazooie. Jamjars teaches the protagonists how to use them in the Wasteland section of Isle o’ Hags, next to the entrance to Terrydactyland and the second Digger Tunnels from Pine Grove. When fired, the Clockwork Kazooie Egg falls in a low arc and cracks open upon hitting the ground, revealing the tiny walking explosive. The bomb can be controlled with the Control Stick and has a limited jumping ability. The bomb will explode after twenty seconds, when it hits an enemy, or falls into a pool of water. The B button can be pressed to manually activate the bomb, or it will explode if the protagonists take damage while the player is controlling it. One of the benefits of using Clockwork Kazooie Eggs is their super tiny size, which enables them to fit into tight spaces. Also, enemies typically ignore them, making them useful for sneak attacks against foes that may be difficult to approach head-on. Moreover, their explosive power makes them highly effective when used in fights while players can even use them to blast away rocks and other barriers, when Grenade Eggs are in short supply. Unlike other eggs where multiple eggs are obtained, players only receive one Clockwork Kazooie Egg when they collect a nest with the egg. Clockwork Kazooie Eggs also have an intriguing property, which is using them to pick up collectibles that are hard to reach as Banjo and Kazooie. This feature enables players to accomplish some sequence breaks, such as collecting a high-located Jiggy without using the Springy Step Shoes. Finally, Clockwork Kazooie Eggs play a critical role in defeating the Hag One in the game’s final boss fight against Gruntilda. When her Hag One suddenly stops working for a few seconds, players must fire a Clockwork Egg into the pipe to blow up the batteries inside.
