Eyrie, a friendly and beloved character in the video game Banjo-Kazooie, resides in the world of Click Clock Wood. In this world, the protagonists are tasked with nurturing and raising Eyrie from a pink egg in his nest to a fully grown and mature eagle, all while experiencing the ever-changing seasons that Click Clock Wood has to offer. During the spring season, Banjo and Kazooie break open his pink egg, only to find that he is still very much in need of rest. However, by summer and autumn, Eyrie has become quite hungry and asks Banjo and Kazooie to feed him caterpillars to help him grow big and become strong for the next season. Come winter, Eyrie has matured into a majestic eagle, and as a thank you to Banjo and Kazooie for their help, he rewards them with a Jiggy, a valuable collectible in the game. Eyrie’s appearance changes as he grows and matures throughout the game. As a baby, Eyrie has large, tan feet with sharp talons, and his body and tail are covered with orange feathers that turn yellow near his belly. Eyrie has small wings, indicating that he is unable to fly, but his nice and cozy nest makes up for his inability to take flight. His beak is tan in color, and his green eyes are visible from under his feathers. Interestingly, Eyrie wears a diaper held together by a blue safety pin. When Eyrie fully grows up, he is noticeably larger, with golden feet and dark brown feathers covering his body and tail. Furthermore, the feathers on his head and neck are white, and his beak turned yellow. Two large white feathers now sit on top of his head, and his eyes have transformed into a beautiful and rich blue hue. As Eyrie is now a fully mature eagle, he no longer wears his diaper, a clear indication of his growth. Interestingly, in the autumn season of Click Clock Wood, Banjo and Kazooie may sometimes fall through Eyrie’s nest after feeding him the required amount of caterpillars. This is caused by his growth which leads to him pushing Banjo and Kazooie through the nest. Eyrie’s transformation and growth throughout the seasons showcase the level of detail and attention given to even the smallest characters in the game, making Banjo-Kazooie a truly remarkable and immersive experience for players.
