Grenade Eggs, also known as Rear Eggs in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, are a type of explosive egg that can be wielded by the red-feathered breegull, Kazooie in Banjo-Tooie. Jamjars provides instruction on their use in the Pine Grove, which is a section located within the game’s hub world Isle O’ Hags. It’s worth noting that there is a limit of twenty-five Grenade Eggs that can be carried at any given time, although players can activate the Cheato Code Eggs to raise the maximum to fifty. Firing Grenade Eggs requires a pause between each shot, which is a small drawback when compared to Kazooie’s Blue Eggs, which can be fired three at a time. However, the sheer power of Grenade Eggs, which are matched only by Clockwork Kazooie Eggs makes them to one of the most effective and popular types of eggs in the game. Grenade Eggs have many applications in the game, and can deal massive damage to enemies and bosses alike. In addition to their direct damage, they are also able to deal splash damage that can take out surrounding enemies with ease. Grenade Eggs can also be used to destroy certain obstacles, such as boulders, breakable walls, and even tougher enemies, such as Sput Sput and Fruity. Nevertheless, caution should be exercised when using Grenade Eggs since their explosion can damage the protagonists if used at close range. Additionally, the explosion from a Grenade Egg can propel the duo backward, or in some instances, off the edge of a nearby cliff. It’s important to recognize the utility and value of Grenade Eggs in the game, despite their drawbacks. By mastering the Grenade Eggs timing and precision, players can overcome difficult obstacles and take out the most toughest enemies.
