Honey B. is a tall, female bee character who graces the Plateau region of the Isle O’ Hags in the game Banjo-Tooie. With her slender build and statuesque presence, she cuts an imposing figure that even towers over Banjo, leading to some confusion with Kazooie, who once mistook her for a wasp. Known for her role as the resourceful Mistress of the Honey, Honey B. is central to Banjo and Kazooie’s adventures, offering them crucial health bar extensions in exchange for collected Extra Honeycombs. Her dwelling, Honey B.’s Hive, is a wooden, box-like structure, reminiscent of a classic white beehive, situated within the Plateau region. It suggests a regal status, with Honey B. potentially being the queen bee of a hive, producing honey for some unseen harvester, which adds mystique to her character. Honey B. not only appears in Banjo-Tooie but also in the earlier time frame of Banjo-Kazooie Grunty’s Revenge, set in Spiral Rise of Spiral Mountain. Here, Banjo and Kazooie encounter Honey B. in a past version of her home, where she has the same purpose as in Banjo-Tooie, albeit two decades earlier.
