Loggo is an entertaining and unique supportive character who makes his first debut in the video game Banjo-Kazooie. As a talking toilet, Loggo is a quirky and fascinating addition to the game’s cast of characters. He can be found in the bathroom of the spooky Haunted Mansion located in the seventh world, called Mad Monster Mansion. Banjo and Kazooie first encounter Loggo when they shatter one of the breakable windows of the Haunted Mansion. Upon meeting him, players learn that he has a Jiggy located in his septic tank. However, Banjo and Kazooie are too large to fit through his hole that leads to the tank. To access the valuable Jiggy, players must first collect twenty Mumbo Tokens and head over to Mumbo’s Skull, which is found near the graveyard of the Haunted Church. By paying the required amount of tokens, Banjo and Kazooie can use Mumbo Jumbo’s transformation service to become a pumpkin. With their new Pumpkin Form, Banjo and Kazooie can fit through Loggo’s hole and make their way to the septic tank. However, they must be cautious as they navigate through the tank, because it’s filled with dangerous Grill Chompas that will attack once they get too close. Also, the Pumpkin Form does not provide any attacking abilities for Banjo and Kazooie, so players must use their quick wits and skills to avoid them and reach their goal. In the small room at the end of the tunnel, players will find a Jiggy located in the top left corner, as well as a Mumbo Token found in the bottom right corner. These rewards make the journey through the septic tank well worth it for all players who are looking to fully explore the world Mad Monster Mansion. Furthermore, after entering a certain Stop ‘n’ Swop code inside the Sandcastle of Treasure Trove Cove, the green mysterious egg will appear on top of Loggo.
» Loggo in Banjo-Tooie
Loggo, a talking toilet, is a recurring supportive character in the Banjo-Kazooie series, making his debut in the first game’s Mad Monster Mansion world. In the sequel Banjo-Tooie, he reappears in Grunty Industries, a huge sprawling factory that serves as the game’s sixth world. Finding Loggo requires some effort, as he is locked behind an iron door in the Workers Quarters. Players have to use Kazooie’s Grenade Eggs to blast open the door and enter the cramped room where Loggo is located. Upon seeing the protagonists for the first time, Loggo happily greets them and laments his situation. He reveals that he has been forcibly relocated from the Haunted Mansion to Grunty Industries by the evil witch Gruntilda Winkybunion, but he is not enjoying his new surroundings. In fact, he expresses disgust at the behavior of some of the factory workers, who have been using him in unseemly ways. He further mentions that he has been clogged up with paper by one such worker and implores Banjo and Kazooie to help him out. The duo must use their Bill Drill ability to clear out the paper and unclog Loggo. Doing so will reward them with a Cheato Page, a valuable collectible in the game that belongs to Cheato. Interestingly, Banjo and Kazooie can speak with Loggo again before completing his task. During this conversation, Kazooie jokingly suggests that he should call a plumber to fix his clogged pipes, specifically referring to Mario, the iconic hero of the Super Mario Bros. franchise. This playful reference to a competitor’s game is a testament to the Banjo-Kazooie franchise’s enduring popularity as well as legacy in the gaming industry.
