Moggy, one of the three white polar bear cubs belonging to Boggy and Mrs. Boggy, is a recurring character in the series. He is first introduced in the game Banjo-Kazooie, where he, along with his siblings called Soggy and Groggy, appear as depressed cubs in their father’s igloo, saddened by the lack of Christmas presents they have received. After Banjo and Kazooie retrieve the presents for them, the trio can be seen happily bouncing around Boggy’s igloo. Moggy the only cub with a speaking role in the game, stands out with his blue pajama pants. Also, he and his siblings make a reappearance in Banjo-Tooie, where they have grown up a bit and sport new outfits. Moggy is now seen wearing a red baseball cap, along with blue jeans, and a red t-shirt with the depiction of an unspecified planetary body that resembles Saturn. He and his siblings visit the theme park Witchyworld with their mother, Mrs. Boggy, and refuse to leave. The protagonists are tasked with rounding them up, and Moggy proves to be the most stubborn of the three siblings. The duo has to hit him in order to get him to return home, and although his parents initially seem indifferent to this, they later acknowledge that Moggy needs to be disciplined. Despite being initially cut from the video game Banjo-Kazooie Nuts & Bolts due to time constraints, Moggy, along with his sister Soggy, was discovered to be included in the game eleven years after its release. He can be seen in the world Banjoland in the Jiggy-Challenge, called Home Improvements Igloo Edition, atop an empty display case, far from where the actual challenge takes place. Overall, Moggy’s character adds a playful touch and his appearances showcase his growth and development in the series.
