Mrs. Boggy

Mrs. Boggy is a prominent supportive character in the Banjo-Kazooie series, known for her rather plump appearance. She is the wife of Boggy and shares her husband’s weight problem. Dressed in a pink colored garden dress and sun hat with a purple flower on it, Mrs. Boggy is depicted as a strong-willed individual who is not afraid to speak her mind. Along with her husband, Boggy, and three children, she resides on the Icy Side of Hailfire Peaks, although it’s speculated that she now resides in Showdown Town due to her husband’s job at Mr. Fit’s old gym. In Banjo-Tooie, she and her three children visited Witchyworld for a vacation. Unfortunately, they got separated and ran away, leaving her alone at the world’s entrance while the children were scattered throughout the park. Mrs. Boggy requests that Banjo and Kazooie recover her children, whom she affectionately refers to as the Little Scamps. Once the protagonists return them to her, she rewards them with a golden Jiggy as thanks before returning home to Hailfire Peaks, stating that she hopes Boggy has put dinner in the oven. Afterward, she is seen with the rest of her family in Boggy’s Igloo. She is portrayed as rather strict and abusive towards her three little children, as evidenced when she falsely accuses Groggy of lying before beating him up with her purse. Although Mrs. Boggy does not appear in the game Banjo-Kazooie Nuts and Bolts, her husband Boggy often talks about her on numerous occasions. Boggy states that she kicked him out, forcing him to get a job to pay for rent, which ultimately led to his position at Mr. Fit’s gym in Showdown Town. Boggy also mentions that she hasn’t fed him in quite a while and that she sometimes physically abuses him for acting out. In a Jiggy-Challenge found in Banjoland, Boggy mentions that Mrs. Boggy is demanding him to build a newer, fancier igloo in place of the old one, which was put on display. Boggy then asks Banjo and Kazooie to knock the old igloo down by using a powerful vehicle to make room for the new one. Furthermore, the location of Mrs. Boggy’s current residence remains unknown, but it is likely that she still lives in Showdown Town, as she wishes to be close to her husband Boggy.
