The Snowplough Form in Yooka-Laylee is a unique and beloved transformation that offers Yooka and Laylee exciting new abilities to explore Glitterglaze Glacier. This powerful transformation can be used by obtaining the elusive Mollycool, which is located behind some crumbling stone blocks in the Glittertrio Towers, requiring the Bomb-Berry to remove the stones. Once collected, players must bring it to Dr. Puzz who will activate the D.N.Ray, allowing the protagonists to transform into the Snowplough Form. Upon transformation, the protagonists share a large red blade in front of the vehicle, with the grille of the Snowplough being colored purple while the rest is colored to the likeness of Yooka. The vehicle is equipped with four silver wheels with black tires and the head of it has Yooka’s iconic red marking on the back. The Snowplough Form’s ability is a powerful short dash which can be activated by pressing the B button. This ability allows players to remove piles of heavy snow scattered throughout the world of Glitterglaze Glacier, revealing hidden Hats that belong to the five Snowmen in the world. Finding all five hats and returning them to their rightful owners will reward players with a rare Pagie. In addition to its use in uncovering collectibles, the Snowplough Form is essential in completing a task located on the top left side of the cliff next to the Icymetric Palace. Here, the protagonists will encounter Clara Lost once again, who requests Yooka and Laylee’s help in removing the igloos belonging to the Corplets. The protagonists must use the Snowplough’s dash ability to remove them in order to earn a valuable Pagie. Overall, the snowplough is a unique transformation that offers new abilities to explore Glitterglaze Glacier. Its dash is vital in uncovering items and completing tasks that players can’t in the normal form.
