Stony Form

The Stony Form is a transformation in Banjo-Tooie, the second game in the installment, available for players to access in the first world Mayahem Temple. Unlike other forms, the Stony Form is a small, rock-like creature that can traverse through narrow passageways with ease. However, its true potential lies in its ability to communicate with the native Stonies in Mayahem Temple and to enter the Kickball Stadium to participate in a game and win a Jiggy. The Stonies, an indigenous race living in Mayahem Temple, are initially perceived as small, featureless rocks. However, upon closer inspection, they reveal themselves to be a living race complete with arms, legs, eyes and a regal headpiece. The Stony Form, being one of their own, possesses the unique talent of being able to comprehend and speak their language, opening up a new world of communication and exploration for the player. In addition to this the Stony Form’s small size and agility make it one of the most versatile forms in the game. Unlike most other transformations, the Stony Form has the ability to traverse between worlds, making it an essential asset for players looking to participate in the Kickball Tournament in Hailfire Peaks. The Stony Form’s shoulder charge attack is another noteworthy ability, allowing it to take down enemies, but also to grab the ball from the opposing team during a game of kickball. While it may not have the brute strength of other forms, its agility and quick thinking make it an invaluable asset for any player. Despite its rock-solid appearance the Stony Form retains the iconic accessories of Banjo and Kazooie, including the backpack and shorts. Its legs may cause it to hobble, but its speed is not hindered in the slightest. Also, Chief Bloatazin, who has lost his relic, is capable of identifying Banjo and Kazooie’s disguise as a Stony, but this does not impede the player’s progress in any way.
