The T-Rex Form is an exceptional transformation featured in Banjo-Tooie, the second installment in the Banjo-Kazooie franchise. It is bestowed upon the protagonists by Mumbo Jumbo, the pink shaman, and turns them into one of the most feared dinosaurs of all time, called Tyrannosaurus Rex. This special form offers two stages, the Baby T-Rex and the Daddy T-Rex, each with unique strengths and weaknesses suited for different tasks in Terrydactyland. At first the transformation results them becoming a Baby T-Rex, which is similar in size to Banjo but possesses a smaller life bar and has no defense. It can fit into certain places and communicate with other dinosaurs, but some, such as the Soarasaurus, will attack Banjo and Kazooie indiscriminately, while others, like the Bargasaurus, will damage them if touched. The Baby T-Rex has a special roar that can open stone doors featuring the Baby T-Rex head on them. Once Mumbo Jumbo casts his magic spell called Enlarge on Humba’s Wigwam, the protagonists transform into a Daddy T-Rex, a massive and terrifying dinosaur. However, the Daddy T-Rex is too big to use Warp Pads due to its size, but its strength and ferocity make it too powerful to ignore. It can only fit in the main outdoor section and its thunderous roar is so powerful that it can even kill enemies and step on smaller enemies to crush them. It can also eat smaller enemies and frighten the Unga Bunga Tribe that the Baby form could not. The Daddy T-Rex is about as large as a cliff and, for an unknown reason, has an oxygen bar in the game. Each form must be used to activate switches unique to them. Also, the Daddy T-Rex appears in Banjo-Kazooie Nuts & Bolts in a glass case in the world Banjoland.
