Witchyworld, the third world in the video game Banjo-Tooie is an expansive and run-down theme park, located within the Isle O’ Hags. It is separated into four distinct zones, including the Space Zone, Wild West Zone, Haunted Zone, and the Area 51 section. Witchyworld’s centerpiece is the Big Top, a giant blue tent guarded by Conga, which requires the player to hand over four tickets and learn the use of the Airborne Egg Aiming technique to enter. As Witchyworld is owned by the wicked witch, Gruntilda Winkybunion, strict rules are in place regarding taking out food. Any food that players try to sneak out of Witchyworld will be magically removed. To enter Witchyworld, the player must find and collect eight Jiggies, and complete the moving picture challenge inside the Jiggywiggy Temple to unlock the iron gate entrance, located next to Humba Wumba’s Wigwam in the Pine Grove. Witchyworld offers players the opportunity to acquire three new abilities from Jamjars, including Pack Whack, Split-Up, and Airborne Egg Aiming. In addition, in the Wild West Zone, players can find Humba’s Wigwam, where they can change the appearance of Banjo and Kazooie into a van to open Van Doors with the horn ability, and pay Gruntilda Winkybunion’s fees to participate in various events. Additionally Witchyworld features Mumbo Jumbo’s Skull located in the Inferno, where Mumbo’s magic can be utilized to provide electricity for the Dodgem Dome and Star Spinner building found in the Space Zone. It is crucial to keep in mind that Witchyworld is Gruntilda’s property and therefore the player must abide by her strict rules and regulations.

» Shortcuts in Witchyworld

The vibrant and exciting theme park Witchyworld contains two shortcuts that can transport the player to other worlds. The first one is found in the Space Zone at the top of a building, where the Saucer of Peril awaits on a platform. This shortcut will lead the player to the Fuel Depot in Glitter Gulch Mine, but it’s initially blocked by an iron door. To unlock the door, the player must press the red button located on the right side, which will grant access to the Saucer of Peril. The Saucer of Peril can then be taken back to Witchyworld, where it must be freed from its box to participate in a mini-game. If the player scores enough points, they’ll earn a valuable Jiggy as first price and a Cheato Page as second price. The second shortcut in Witchyworld is located at the top of a wall in the Area 51 section and requires the use of the Claw Clamber Boots. These special boots can be acquired from Jamjars in the world Grunty Industries, which will allow the protagonists to walk up the wall with the yellow footprints on it and enter a pipe. This shortcut leads to Oogle Boogle’s Cave, found in the world Terrydactyland, which is the only route without a crossed-out food sign on the wall. The crossed-out wooden sign indicates that Gruntilda’s magic prevents players from taking food across to other worlds, but this shortcut allows the player to bypass this restriction. In Oogle Boogle’s Cave, the player will encounter hungry Oogle Boogles who need food. The player must collect fries and burgers from Witchyworld and use the shortcut above the Area 51 section to sneak the food into Terrydactyland. Once the food is delivered, they’ll reward the player with a valuable Jiggy that has some teeth marks on it as they initially mistook the Jiggy for chocolate.
