Wozza

Located in the fifth world Freezeezy Peak in Banjo-Kazooie, Wozza is a solitary walrus residing in his own cozy cave. Positioned above a hill near a stack of presents, he holds a golden Jiggy in his hand, making him a highly sought-after character for players. However, Banjo and Kazooie must approach Wozza in their Walrus Form to receive his Jiggy, as he is scared of them in their regular form. To transform Banjo and Kazooie into a walrus, players must find and collect fifteen Mumbo Tokens and use Mumbo’s transformation service at his Skull, accessible by passing through cold water with the Wading Boots. Once transformed, they can approach Wozza and get the coveted Jiggy, along with a quick warning about the nearby presence of a smelly brown honey bear and his ugly bird. Exploring Wozza’s Cave as walrus also reveals an Extra Honeycomb, which players can obtain by traversing through a tunnel leading to a small room with a platform surrounded by different colored crystals. After obtaining Wozza’s rare Jiggy, players are able to enter his cave in Banjo and Kazooie’s regular form to reach the alcove behind Wozza using Kazooie’s Flap Flip to retrieve the orange Jinjo inside. Behind the wall of the alcove lies a thick ice wall that houses the mysterious Ice Key from the Stop ‘n’ Swop series, which can be opened by entering a long code inside the Sandcastle of Treasure Trove Cove, the game’s second world. Although the key has no function in Banjo-Kazooie, it can unlock unique rewards in the series’ sequel games, such as the Mega Glowbo and a part that represents two parts of the Great Britain Flag, which can be used for vehicles. While Wozza will greet Banjo when he enters the cave in his Walrus Form, he will get scared if Banjo is in his normal form. Notably, if a player obtains one of the other transformations in the game and glitches into Wozza’s cave he’ll still react as if Banjo is in his bear form. However the absence of Wozza in Mumbo Jumbo’s picture depicting the Ice Key at the end of the game is noteworthy. The developers may have chosen to omit Wozza from the picture, as he isn’t crucial to obtaining the mysterious Ice Key, instead focusing on the essential elements of the picture.
